About me

After 30+ in the corporate world, I retired and combined my two passions: a love of dogs (and all animals), and writing. Most of my adult life I spent with my husband, Kevin, surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses on our little farm in Central Ohio. Dog rescue and adoption became my purpose and although I now reside in Michigan, I still support the Morrow County Dog Shelter (Mt. Gilead, Ohio) through fundraising efforts.

My creative spark was kindled at Ohio Dominican University while earning a Bachelor of Arts. In 2021, my short story, Foal Watch, placed first in the Westerville, Ohio, “Celebrate the Arts Writing Contest.” The award encouraged me to continue writing. I’m a member of The Authors Guild, the Independent Book Publishers Association, and the Mount Gilead Area Writers Guild.

Through Their Eyes; Reflections on joy, loss, and learning, is my first book.

Please support your local animal shelter or rescue. Thank you.
